From SI.com: Can the Cardinals Win Without Carson Palmer
"Sunday brought good and bad tidings for the Arizona Cardinals. The team with the NFL’s best record stretched that mark to 8-1 — the franchise’s best record since 1948, when it was located in Chicago — with a 31-14 thrashing of the St. Louis Rams. It was a celebration of everything that makes this particular iteration of the Cardinals so great — outstanding defense under defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, tremendous play design by head coach Bruce Arians and players coming through when it counted."

From NFL.com: Cardinals Believe Palmer Has A Torn ACL
"This is the same knee Palmer shredded so severely in 2006 that his surgeon deemed the damage a “four” on a “scale of one to three.” Coach Bruce Arians said after the game the team wouldn’t know Palmer’s prognosis until more tests are done."
From AZ Central: Defensive Schemes Succeeding Under Todd Bowles
"Few other defensive coordinators in the NFL develop game plans that change as much week to week as the Cardinals’ Todd Bowles. He’s used alignments featuring two, three and four defensive linemen. A safety might play 80 percent of the snaps this week and 20 percent next. A nose tackle might slide out to end. Another safety might be a middle linebacker for most of the day."
From Revenge Of The Birds: Carson Palmer’s Contract Was No Brainer For Arizona Cardinals
"Why was the contract a must? You have a team that could make a push to the Super Bowl. You don’t then let your starting quarterback walk. Say what you want about Palmer, you cannot deny he is head and shoulders above the other QBs on the roster in terms of talent."
