Arizona Cardinals Checking Off The NFC Championship To-Do List

The Arizona Cardinals are quickly completeing the NFC Championship to-do list.

• Beat the Eagles, check.
• Beat the Cowboys, check.
• Beat the Lions, check.
• Beat the 49ers check.

This Arizona Cardinal team, no matter how many injuries this they go through, no matter how many contenders they play, this team always seems get the job done. That’s why at this moment, they are my team to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Minus their only loss to Denver, the Arizona Cardinals have taken every challenge and brushed it aside. This team survived losing their quarterback twice in the same season and that would usually kill a team’s hopes and dreams. But not for the Cardinals. They’ve embraced their backup quarterback and he has excelled in that position.

The Arizona Cardinals don’t have an elite pass rusher so defensive coordinator Todd Bowles has been blitz happy.The strategy has pushded the Arizona Caridnals Defense to a number two ranking against the run and top ten in sacks. They struggle against the pass but they don’t get constantly burnt. The secondary is in man to man coverage almost all the time and they have no help. They have maybe the toughest job in the NFL. 

Their offense is very efficient, not turning over the ball and getting the big plays when they need to. They have some of the best offensive weapons but they aren’t used the way they would be if it was Todd Haley coaching. They play hard and they are great for getting yards after catch.They do just enough to get the W, which may not be the pretty way but it’s the way the Cardinals have been doing things. They may not run the ball down your throat or torch you in the air, but they’ll beat you.

The head coach, Bruce Arians is a mastermind for how he has fixed the Cardinals through everything that has happen. If I had a vote for Coach of the year, I’d give it to Arians and Arians is the biggest reason why I’m picking the Cards at this point to win the NFC. This team is hot,they’re loaded in most positions, they can win close games against the best teams, they’ve already beaten most of the NFC contenders, and their home field advantage is amazing. I can’t say win it all because i have no idea which AFC team they will face and which type of team they will be. Look out NFC, the Arizona Cardinals are coming for the Superbowl.
