Arizona Cardinals Opponent Preview: Seattle Seahawks
By Omar Soussi
The Arizona Cardinals are hitting the most important part of their season as they head to Seattle to play the Seahawks. This game is a must win for Seattle as they try to stay in the playoff hunt and the Arizona Cardinals are trying to keep their lead of the NFC conference too big for anyone to catch up with them. Lets take a look at this squad.
The Legion of Boom
This defense, particularly the secondary, has been consistent this and currently ranked third against the pass. They look like they don’t miss Browner but they have been burned when their defensive line isn’t on their game. They are still loaded and they play great football (they recently held Alex Smith to only 108 yards). This will be the biggest challenge for the Arizona Cardinals to deal with.

The Beast
Marshawn Lynch may be gone next year, but that doesn’t mean he’s gonna just give up on the team. He rushed for 124 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs and a total of 813 this season. He plays the way same way he has the last three seasons, run as hard as possible every play. He will have to face a very tough Arizona Cardinals team that only allows 80 yards per game on average and is ranked third overall against the run.
Homefield Advantage
Arizona is going to maybe the toughest place to play in the NFL, Centurylink field. The Arizona Cardinals were the first team to beat the Seahawks while Russell Wilson is starting when they met in last year. Knowing that the Cards hasve beat them at Centurylink before they visit Arizona, the 12th man will be hyped for this game.
Russell Wilson
I could talk about the Hawks bad offensive line or mediocre receivers, but this game will come down to how Russell Wilson plays. If he can be efficient and make the smart plays that he did last year, they should win. However, that is tough to do when your team can’t block for you, but this team needs to help him out by getting him the running game and getting him a short field to work off of.
