Arizona Cardinals Sign Short Yardage Specialist Michael Bush

The Arizona Cardinals running game has struggled in recent weeks. This has been especially true in short yardage situations which has hampered the ability of the Cardinals to sustain drives.
With star running back Andre Ellington showing some wear and tear, the Arizona Cardinals have signed bruising running back Michael Bush to add some depth to the running back corps.
The veteran running back hasn’t played since last season after being cut by the Bears after falling short of expectations. But Michael Bush’s north/south style should be a compliment to Ellington and the Cardinals are hoping that a fresh start can inspire some production.

If Bush can manage to be mildly productive that would go a long way to giving Ellington a break after being pounded by two of the NFL’s best run defenses in consecutive weeks. The veteran runner should make an immediate impact for the Cardinals in short yardage and goal line situations.
