2014 Bowl Projections: Realistic Bowl Options for Arizona State

When Arizona State lost their regular season finale to their in-state rival Arizona, their slim chance at making a case for the College Football Playoffs was lost. The Sun Devils also lost out on a chance of repeating as Pac-12 South champions and will have to settle for a lesser bowl game now after their 9-3 season.

The Fiesta Bowl was a very realistic option going into the game against Arizona with the winner of the Territorial Cup game most likely deserving a bid to the bowl, but with the 42-35 defeat Arizona State will have to turn their focus to three other bowls: the Alamo Bowl, the Holiday Bowl, and the Foster Farms Bowl.
