Arizona Cardinals Face Hot Seattle Seahawks On Sunday
By Omar Soussi
On Sunday night, the NFC West could very well be decided when the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals face off from the University of Phoenix Stadium. If the Cardinals win, they’ll grab the division title and force the Seahawks to go on the road in the playoffs. However, if the Hawks win, they’ll have control of the division and most likely get home field advantage in the playoffs.

Great Defensive Play
Throughout the last four games, the Seahawks defense has been playing lights out, giving up a total of 27 points. They have also gotten 15 sacks and four interceptions during that time as well. Their front four has been a truly disruptive force, stuffing the running game throughout most of the four games.
Seattle’s defense has finally found their rhythm again, playing physical football and forcing people to play the game on their terms. The Cardinals are going to struggle against this team, even more now that the Cardinals announced yesterday that Ryan Lindley will start against the Seahawks.
Can Arizona Stop The Beast?
Marshawn Lynch has been the team’s leading rusher over the past three games and has averaged around 80 yards per game. The last time these two teams played, he only got 39 yards on the ground but got 43 yards through the air. The Hawks come in first in rushing yards per game and the Cardinals come in sixth against the run.
It’s going to be fun to see which side prevails.
Wilson Playing Good Football
During Seattle’s four-game winning streak, Russell Wilson himself has more than 1,000 total yards while having six touchdowns to only one turnover. Wilson has done a lot to get the Seahawks back into the race for home field advantage and if he continues the way he has played so far, the Cardinals are going to have a tough time trying to defend a guy that can hurt you with both his arm and legs.
I think this matchup will be low scoring and regardless of the Cardinals being at home, they are still going to be underdogs.
