Phoenix Suns Extend Winning Streak
The Phoenix Suns are scorching hot as they hit Christmas as they extended their winning streak to four consecutive games with a 124-115 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
Eric Bledsoe led the way yet again for the Suns (16-14) with his second career triple-double. Bledsoe finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and three steals in the contest as his fingerprints were all over the victory.
In Phoenix’s highest scoring output of the season, points could be seen up and down the box score for the Suns including 25 from Goran Dragic, 22 from Gerald Green, and 17 from Alex Len.
Len was given a large sum of the minutes, 28, at center compared to Miles Plumlee’s 17 minutes. Plumlee was sporadic from the field again and only finished with four points and eight rebounds in his short time share.

Len has proved to be a better option in the paint and definitely proved that to be true yet again with his offensive production against Dallas and also added seven rebounds while doing so.
The Suns bench has been highlighted quite a bit lately and they did not disappoint in this high-octane environment. The bench unit contributed for 42 points in the game while allowing Markieff Morris, P.J. Tucker and Len time to rest on the bench while Dragic and Bledsoe played the majority of the game with 39 and 35 minutes played respectively.
Dirk Nowitzki and Tyson Chandler tied for the Mavericks (20-10) team lead with 22 points each. Chandler also added 14 assists to go with his scoring outburst.
Newly acquired Rajon Rondo had a sloppy game in which he only totaled 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists while committing five turnovers and fouling out of the contest before the end of the third quarter.
