The Phoenix Suns were able to withstand a late push by the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night to win their sixth straight game by a final score of 116-107.

Clutch performances by Markieff Morris and Eric Bledsoe sealed the deal for the Suns as they went on a 10-2 run to close out the game after carrying a narrow 106-105 lead with under three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Phoenix (18-14) won their third straight game against the Lakers (9-22) this year after a pair of victories against their Pacific Division foe in the first week of the season.

Bledsoe once again led the charge for the Suns as he racked up 22 points (20 points in the second half), eight rebounds, eight assists and four steals. He sunk four free throws in the final half minute of the game to ice the victory for Phoenix.

Goran Dragic scored a game-high 24 points, while Isaiah Thomas also chipped in with 15 points as the Suns continued their balanced scoring attack. Eight Suns players totaled at least eight points in the contest.

Alex Len continued his strong play inside as he scored eight points, grabbed eight rebounds, and blocked two shots. He now has at least one block in 10 consecutive games.

The Suns rotation of Dragic, Bledsoe, P.J. Tucker, Morris, and Len have rattled off all six wins of the win streak and remain undefeated as a starting unit.

Los Angeles hit 12 of their 20 three-point shot attempts, but found their achilles heel at the free throw line going just 11 of 20.

Phoenix will look to extend their winning streak to seven games when their road trip continues in New Orleans when they take on Anthony Davis and the Pelicans on Tuesday night.
