Heatwaved Poll: Would You Want Ndamukong Suh On Your Team?
By Tony Fischer
On Tuesday the NFL overturned the suspension of pro bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh after his latest stomping incident in Green Bay. That means Suh will be back in the Detroit Lions line-up for their wild card game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Fans of the NFL (outside of Detroit) viewed the latest Suh stomp as just another unacceptable dirty play by the NFL’s dirtiest player. Suh may be a “dirty player” but he also has the numbers to back it up. The Lions’ defensive tackle put up big regular season numbers again in 2014 with 53 tackles, 8.5 sacks and 13 stuffs. He is a big reason the Lions defense is ranked #1 in the NFL against the run.

With every talented person there is usually a downside. Suh’s downside is his inability to control his play on the field. Some fans would take that over a player with off the field issues.
The questions is as a Cardinals fan would you be able to tolerate Suh’s on the field behavior if he was on your team. The former Nebraska Cornhusker will be a free agent after this season and early indications are that he will not be re-signing in Detroit. That means he could be available for the Cardinals to sign this offseason barring Detroit using the franchise tag.
Suh will likely do to the highest bidder, no matter where that bidder comes from. He recently made comments to the Detroit media that he would let his agent pick where he plays next year. That means money and not location will be the primary motivating factor when choosing his next career destination.
Assuming the Cardinals want to fork over the cap space to sign the Pro Bowl defensive tackle; would you want Suh on your team?
