Carson Palmer Signs Extension
On Nov. 7, the Arizona Cardinals made Carson Palmer their franchise quarterback with a generous 3-year $50 million extension. It was the feel good story of a talented veteran quarterback finally finding a home on a team he can help build into a winner.

Unfortunately, the feel good story of Palmer’s extension wouldn’t last long as Palmer suffered two injuries during the season. The second of which, a torn ACL, prematurely ended his season as the Cardinals starting quarterback.
Palmer would be forced to watch helplessly as his team struggled to settle on a starting quarterback and dropped from the NFC win leader a playoff wild card.
