Miguel Batista is one of the more underrated pitchers in Arizona’s history. He didn’t win the awards but he was still a solid pitcher nonetheless. Miggy spent four years in Arizona, and those would be the best of his career statistically.
Batista was only 40-34 but he had a respectable 3.99 ERA with the Diamondbacks. He had four 10+ win seasons. He is ranked fifth all-time in complete games with six. He would make for a good #5 guy in Arizona’s all-time rotation.
