With the Arizona Cardinals dropping their NFC Wild Card game to the Carolina Panthers it is now time for the team to get ready for the NFL draft on April 30 in which the Arizona Cardinals will own the 24th overall pick in the first round.
In addition to the 24th overall pick, the Cardinals also possess one pick in each of the second through seventh rounds. Compensatory picks have yet to be announced and will be added in mid-March.
The 24th pick has some history with great players being picked in that slot. In recent history Dez Bryant, Aaron Rodgers, and Steven Jackson were each selected in the 24th spot.
There will be multiple articles in the near future detailing certain players that the Cardinals should look at in order to bolster their roster for the upcoming season. First, we will take a look at some prospects that would fit the Cardinals’ needs on the defensive side of the ball.
