Smith is an ultra-speedy wideout who can stretch the field in a split-second. He only caught 32 passes, but he had 886 receiving yards and led the Big Ten in touchdowns (12) and yards per reception (27.7). In 42 career games Smith caught 120 passes, 2,458 yards, and 30 touchdowns all while maintaining a yards per reception average of 20.5 which is 17th all-time in Division I football. Smith’s draft stock is a little up in the air and he could get Martavis Bryant-esque treatment in the draft and fall to the 4th round, but he would have great value with the later pick.
