Arizona State continued their losing streak against Oregon, giving the Sun Devils a three-loss streak. The entire game was close but Arizona State could not pull away with a win, falling 59-56.

The first points to be made by ASU started with Kodi Justice making a three-point jump shot. Next, Eric Jacobsen got the offensive rebound, and followed up with a lay-up. Shaquielle McKissic made both of his free throws.

The Devils headed to the locker room down 25-23.

Jacobsen started off the second half with making a jump shot from six feet out, followed by Roosevelt Scott making a lay-up. With 14 minutes left, McKissic and then a pair of free throws. It seemed that McKissic found his momentum because after that he made a three-point jump shot from 26 feet out, a lay-up, and was able to get a defensive rebound.

Things started to look a bit down for ASU after that, but Savon Goodman made a dunk with 5:50 on the clock, plus a free throw. Even with this, Arizona State University wasn’t able to pull away.

McKissic was definitely the lead player of tonight’s game. He had 18 points, four rebounds and one assist with 32 minutes of playing time.

Jacobsen followed just a few points off from McKissic, scoring 13 points and three assists with 21 minutes of playing time.

Last but not least, Goodman pulled out with eight points, five rebounds and one assist with 19 minutes of playing time.

Arizona State University now has a record of 8-8 after having lost three straight and currently stands 11th in Pac-12. Their next game is on Thursday against Utah. Hopefully having the home court advantage will pep ASU up enough to pull in a win and end their losing streak.
