There will be a total of four Cardinal players in the 2015 Pro Bowl representing their home in Glendale,Arizona. Another fun fact is that they’ll get to play on the same side. It’s no surprise that all four players come from the defensive side, where the Cardinals shined throughout the 2014 season.

Calais Campbell ( first appearance): Campbell plays defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals, he was drafted in 2008 by the Cardinals in the second round. Although it is Campbell’s first appearance, it’s a well-deserved one. This season, he had 7 sacks even though he’s missed two games due to an injury suffered midseason. He also had an interception this season.

Patrick Peterson ( fourth appearance): Even with all the ups and downs Peterson has gone through this season on where he stands as a top cornerback in the league, he’s entering his fourth Pro Bowl. With the 2015 Pro Bowl added to his resume, Peterson has now made a Pro Bowl in each of his four seasons.

Peterson had his shares of trouble this season, one game that really hurt him was against the Atlanta Falcons where he covered Julio Jones who had 189 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals 29-18 loss. However, his best game of the season was against the St. Louis Rams in a come-back win for the Cardinals. Peterson had two interceptions in this game, one of them a pick 6 that came in the fourth quarter that gave the Cardinals the momentum to finish the game in victory.

Antonio Cromartie (fourth appearance): Cromartie was signed by the Cardinals briefly before the 2014 season began. He was announced a member of the Pro Bowl replacing Richard Sherman who is competing in the SuperBowl next week.

In addition to Peterson’s three interceptions, Cromartie also had three of his own in the regular season. He added another interception in the Cardinals WildCard loss which was his 31st career interception. It moved Cromartie to a tie for eighth place in all-time interception list among active NFL players.

Bethel blocked three field goals in his last two seasons, and forced two fumbles in his 2014 season. He was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week on November 5th.
