Welcome to the second edition of my NHL Power Rankings. Last week there were some transactions that were heard around the league. Winnipeg sent Evander Kane and Zach Bogosian to Buffalo and received Tyler Myers and Drew Stafford. The Sabres also traded away Jhonas Enroth to Dallas. Nashville acquired Cody Franson and Mike Santorelli from Toronto.

This past week saw Nashville, St. Louis, NY Islanders, NY Rangers, and Los Angeles Kings have perfect weeks while Boston, New Jersey, Carolina and Buffalo weren’t able to grab a single point. The NHL’s Three Stars were (1) Marian Hossa (2) Tyler Toffoli (3) Pekka Rinne. Now, let’s get started.
