NBA Trade Rumors: Goran Dragic Could Go To Miami in Three Team Deal
By Tony Fischer
Earlier today it looked as if the Phoenix Suns would get stuck with Goran Dragic after teams were pulling out of trade talks for fear of being snubbed by the Slovenian point guard in the offseason.
But the latest rumor floated by NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowksi has the Sun dealing Goran Dragic in a potential three team deal including the Miami Heat (one of the Pistons preferred teams) and the Detroit Pistons.
Details have not been officially published but it the rumor is that the Suns would get Norris Cole and or a draft pick in exchange for Dragic. It is not clear who the Detroit Pistons would throw into the deal but they could offer expiring contracts to both the Heat and Suns in exchange for draft picks to sweeten the pot.
This is just another bizarre turn on the chaotic merry-go -round that started on Tuesday when Dragic told Suns management he would not re-sign with the club. After some public comments by Dragic it became clear that dealing him was a necessity if the Suns had any hope of truly competing for a playoff spot.
