The leader of the young generation of budding superstars in the MLB is headed by this guy, Mike Trout. The statistics that this young man, who won’t turn 24 until early August, are eye-boggling.
Trout has 98 career big-flies with 307 RBI in 493 games. He has a career slash line of .305/.395/.549 and has stolen 102 bases and has only been caught stealing 14 times in three full seasons.
He won last year’s AL MVP award after finishing second place in each of his first two seasons. Not much stands in the way of this once-in-a-generation talent from winning the next 10 or so MVP awards.
