AL Rookie of the Year- Rusney Castillo, Red Sox

Castillo made his major league debut for the Boston Red Sox on September 17, 2014 and appeared in 10 games last year. In his short major league stint he totaled two home runs and six RBI, while slashing .333/.400/.528.

Castillo is set to make just north of $11 million this year for Boston as part of his six year, $72.5 million contract that he signed last August.

Although he may begin the 2015 season in Triple-A due to an overcrowded outfield, Castillo will be back on the big league club and tearing apart his opposition’s pitching before we know it.
