Arizona Forward Brandon Ashley to Enter NBA Draft
Junior forward Brandon Ashley of the Arizona Wildcats has announced that he will forego his senior season and enter the 2015 NBA Draft.
The San Francisco native was a key component of the 2014-2015 Wildcats in which he averaged 12.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Ashely shot 51.4 percent from the field, but struggled from the foul line as he carried a 70.3 percent mark this year.

Ashley was injured mid-way through the 2013-2014 season as he helped them achieve a 21-0 record to start the year. He was then injured in the 22nd game of the year and was sidelined the rest of the year.
According to CBS Sports.com’s Jon Rothstein, the 6-9, 230 pound forward is projected to be a mid-to-late second-round pick in the draft.
This could be just the beginning of a top-to-bottom lineup change for the Arizona Wildcats.
Senior T.J. McConnell is out of the program and then Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Stanley Johnson will most likely be foregoing another collegiate season for the NBA draft as well.
