Edge-rusher:

Yes, John Abraham was doing well until a concussion nearly ended his career and the team signed LeMarr Woodley in the offseason, but the team needs a young, physical linebacker that the team can develop.

This draft has one of the best end rushing classes since 2011. So sure, the Cardinals could use a guy like Terrell Suggs on their defense.

-Vic Beasley, Clemson: This is a wish pick, but his name fits him, he is a beast and in four seasons with Clemson he had more than 52 tackles, 33 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and two touchdowns. Cardinals fans, remember a guy by the name of Adrian Wilson? Beasley plays a similar style of game to Wilson, but will sack the quarterback more often. The 6-3, 246 pound linebacker, he probably wont last past the 10th pick.

– Alvin “Bud” Dupree, Kentucky: According to multiple mock drafts this is the player the Arizona Cardinals will likely select with their 24th overall pick in the first round. Dupree, in his senior year, finished with 7.5 sacks. In an analysis by NFL.com, Dupree is “a student-athlete that embodies integrity, maturity, performance, academics, community and tenacity.” An athlete with a 42-inch vertical, like Dupree, would be a great addition to the Cardinals defense.
