Maddie’s Mock Draft:

#24- Alvin “Bud” Dupree (OLB), Kentucky; in need of an edge rusher that can pressure the quarterback.

#55- Benardrick McKinney (ILB), Mississippi State; inside linebackers are a huge need for the Cardinals and McKinney fits the player the team is looking for.

#86- T.J. Yeldon (RB), Alabama; with injuries always effecting the running back position, getting a back like Yeldon could help the offense.

#123- Ifo Ekpre-Olomu (CB), Oregon; cornerbacks are always a need for any team, great player at a great pick.

#159- Andy Gallik (C), Boston College; the team let their long time center, Lyle Senlein go so a pick up of a center could be a good thing for the team.

#197- Stefon Diggs (WR), Maryland; the late round picks are often hard, and many times the guys selected get cut, put on practice squad, or are third stringed.

#241- Taylor Kelly (QB), Arizona State; loved by many at ASU, Kelly could compete for a third string position. Also bringing in local talent is always something fun to watch.

#256- Deon Long (LS), Maryland; Can you say Mr. Irrelevant? With the last pick in the draft, a long snapper may not be a bad thing. The Cardinals have Mike Leach, but he is aging and you can always develop Long to be his successor.

None of my picks may be correct, but hey who knows. Only time can tell, and we will all wait in anticipation for April 30th. And you know the Cardinals could trade for a guy named Adrian Peterson and all my picks would be irrelevant, just like Mr. Irrelevant.
