The Arizona Diamondbacks will continue their homestand to begin the 2015 MLB season for a three-game weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chase Field.

After going 1-2 against the San Francisco Giants to kick-off the new year, the Diamondbacks will host their arch-rival.

Unfortunately for the Diamondbacks hitters, they will have to take on both Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke. Kershaw and Greinke make up, arguably, the best 1-2 combo in the Major Leagues.

Speaking of the Arizona hitters, they showed a lot of promise in the opening series. Out of the team’s 22 hits, they hit four doubles, two triples (both by Mark Trumbo), and two three-run home runs. Their bench members also went 4-for-6 in pinch-hit opportunities.
