Players to Watch in Diamondbacks v. Giants Series

Aoki has played in all 10 games on the season and has hit safely in the first nine games of the year before going hitless in the series finale against Colorado. The former Kansas City Royal has been the one-and-only bright spot for the Giants’ offense this year as he has a .375 batting average.

It is unsure if manager Bruce Bochy will keep Aoki in the leadoff spot when Hunter Pence returns next month, but many signs have turned to Bochy sliding Aoki down to the seventh spot in the starting lineup and moving Angel Pagan from the three-hole to the leadoff spot.
