Week 1: New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals will kick-off the 2015 season against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints in week one in front of the “Bird Gang” at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Last year, the Cardinals had their home opener during week one as well against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football. Arizona would win the game by a hair, 18-17.

The Saints traded Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks (thanks Saints’ front office) during the offseason. They were able to re-sign running back Mark Ingram however and the emergence of Brandin Cooks will continue this year.

Ultimately, the Cardinals will come away victorious against last year’s runner-up from the NFC South.

Cardinals 27 – Saints 21

2015 record: 1-0
