McCutchen is one of the top five position players in the league, though he’s off to a bit of a slow start. He’s hitting .200 on the young season, but he’s hit over .300 in his past three seasons, including .317 in his MVP year in 2013. It’s April, so batting average is a bit misleading at this point.

A series against the Diamondbacks might help the slumping star. In 38 games against Arizona, McCutchen is hitting .346 with a fantastic .447 on-base percentage. He also does pretty well at Chase Field, where he sports a .297 average with 9 RBIs in 20 games.

Keep an eye on McCutchen, this could be the series that gets him back into form.
