    This shot helped the Clippers advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs and solidify the final eight teams left standing for the NBA championship.

    There were three first-round sweeps coming from the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, Golden State, the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, Cleveland, and the No. 5 seed, Washington, also from the East.

    The Clippers-Spurs series was the only series to go the full-seven games with six of the eight series’ done by the fifth game. With the remaining field set-up there should be more competitive basketball and the series’ should go longer in this round.
