Gerald Christian (TE, Louisville) – 7th Round, 256th overall

Taken with the last selection of this year’s draft, this “Mr Irrelevant” can actually play and could very well make the Cardinals roster out of training camp.

Having begun his collegiate career at Florida, Christian made the third-team All-ACC in 2014. He had 32 catches and 384 yards and five touchdowns this past season for the Cardinals. and had 28 grabs for 426 yards and four TD’s during his junior campaign.

John Carlson and Troy Niklas have two roster spots locked up at the tight end, but after that, things are wide open. If he has a good training camp, there’s a solid chance that Christian makes this roster as H-back blocker.
