The last player to hit over .400 in a season was Ted Williams back in 1941. Well, it may be early, but the new Marlins second baseman is certainly giving baseball something to talk about. Through 150 at-bats, Gordon is smashing the seams off the ball for a .420 average and a .444 on-base-percentage. Who knows if he can sustain this over the entire season, but certainly its worth some attention.
