Who Will Fall 8-14 in the 2015 NBA Draft?
By Eli Burk
Over the course of the next few weeks, the Heat Waved staff is going to bring you some interesting views on NBA draft coverage from around the league and especially for the NBA’s most important team to the Valley, the Phoenix Suns.
One thing is for sure; it is never too early to begin providing mock drafts and lottery predictions for the NBA draft. So here is my first rendition of the 2015 NBA Lottery.
Right now, let’s focus on picks 8-14, starting with the eighth overall pick.

It seems like every year, there is always that one big man who falls to the Detroit Pistons. Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe are perfect examples, but with Greg Monroe controlling his own destiny, it may be time to move on and draft another rim protector in Willie Cauley-Stein.
Earlier in the year the comparison to Joakim Noah came out and that could not be more accurate, BUT, Cauley-Stein is much more agile than Noah and is a better defender coming out of college than Noah was. I say let Monroe walk, draft Cauley-Stein and develop his offensive game. Detroit could have two of the best young rim protectors in the NBA if they take Cauley-Stein.
