Who Will go in the Top-Seven in NBA Draft?
By Eli Burk
After sharing picks 8-14 in my mock lottery earlier today, we will now look at picks 1-7 in the upcoming NBA Draft starting with the first overall pick.
Apr 4, 2015; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Kentucky Wildcats forward Karl-Anthony Towns (12) loose control of the ball against Wisconsin Badgers forward Duje Dukan (13) and forward Vitto Brown (30) during the first half of the 2015 NCAA Men
- Minnesota Timberwolves – Karl Anthony-Towns, Kentucky PF/C
It seems pretty obvious that the Timberwolves are going to take a big man with the number one overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft. Who they take is going to be the real interesting question.
I would not be surprised if the T-Wolves go with a little better defense in Karl Anthony-Towns here, mainly because they already have the elite wing defender they want in Andrew Wiggins, so why not get the rim protector they so desperately need? Anthony-Towns has an impressive 7’3.25’’ wingspan with a 9’1 standing reach. It makes so much sense for a team like Minnesota to take the better defense player number one.
