1975: Alvan Adams (Oklahoma), 1st round, 4th overall

The Phoenix Suns selected Adams from Oklahoma with the fourth overall pick in the 1975 NBA Draft. In his rookie year Adams averaged 19.0 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.

He won the Rookie of the Year award and also led the Suns to the 1976 NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history. Adams played all 13 of his NBA seasons with the Phoenix Suns.
