1988: Dan Majerle (Central Michigan), 1st round, 14th overall
Majerle played the first seven seasons of his career with the Phoenix Suns. He then played for the Cavaliers and the Heat before returning to the Suns for his final season.
He had his six best scoring seasons in a Suns uniform, scoring a career-high 17.3 points per game in the 1991-1992 season. He was also named to the 2nd Team All-NBA Defense in the ’91-’92 season in which he only started 15 games that year.
In the 1992-1993 season when the Suns made it to the NBA Finals (lost to the Chicago Bulls in six games) he finished third on the team in scoring behind Charles Barkley and Kevin Johnson.
