Arizona State Football: Game Details Released for Weeks 1-3
The Arizona State football team rose up through the rankings last season, eventually peaking at the No. 6 spot in the nation and are poised to make another run at the top-10 this year behind Mike Bercovici, D.J. Foster, and a young, yet ready defensive unit.
The first three games of the 2015 season, all non-conference games, will help set the Arizona State squad up to do some damage against their PAC-12 Conference rivals.
Week one is against the Texas A&M Aggies at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, home of the Houston Texans. We have known the date of this contest for multiple months now, but we now know the kick-off time and TV carrier.
Week two will be the first game for Arizona State at Sun Devil Stadium in 2015 and the Sun Devils will take on the Cal Poly Mustangs.
Arizona State will continue to host non-conference opponents in week three when the Sun Devils host the New Mexico Lobos at Sun Devil Stadium.
Only the game against Texas A&M should be a close contest. It’s not like in years past where Arizona State takes on opponents like Weber State and Sacramento State in week one. It will be very interesting to see how Arizona State handles the pressure of playing week one on the road against a very decent Texas A&M squad.
Arizona State has been rumored to start the season as a top-20 or possibly even a top-15 team in the upcoming season and the Sun Devils have the right pieces to cause some havoc against their opponents.
