If the Knicks do not make a trade or go with a guard here at the four spot, I think snagging a swingman like Winslow is the right call. After trading both J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to the Cleveland Cavaliers this past season, the Knicks were left with no good perimeter defenders. Winslow will make any team better on the perimeter defensively with his tough on ball defense and his wingspan will help him be able to guard taller players at the small forward position.
