Daniel Murphy:
Though David Wright, the New York Mets starting 3rd baseman is on the disabled list, he is in the top 5 of the National League All-Star Game voting. One of his replacement, Daniel Murphy, has been preforming well both offensively and defensively.
Murphy has provided some good offense for the Mets with a batting average of .281, an on base percentage of .335, and has four home runs in 53 games. Playing both 2nd and 3rd base maybe hard, but Murphy has done some great things.
Playing two positions in the major league is often hard, but Daniel Murphy has done well. Murphy has had troubles at second base with four errors, but in the games he has played third base he has done well allowing only one error. At second base Murphy has a .975 fielding percentage and a .960 at third base.
He will be looking to have a good series against the Diamondbacks.
