It was one of his best performances of the season, allowing no runs in 8 innings. Mets starting pitcher, Jacob deGrom is 6-4 on the season and has been great for the Mets.

deGrom has the best earned run average on the team with 2.41. He is coming off a series of great games including a shut out of both the Padres and St. Louis. Allowing only nine hits and two runs in his three previous games, deGrom will look to preform well against the Diamondbacks.

He is the probable pitcher for game four of the four game series.
