Mike Trout

Trout is of course an obvious choice for this type of article.

The whole baseball world is keeping an eye on him and this marks the first time the D-backs get a chance to see him in action.

The reigning AL MVP is currently tied for the AL lead in home runs with 18 and continues to put up MVP type numbers.

This past week, Trout has racked up 11 hits, 5 RBIs and 3 home runs.

He leads the Angels with an average of .297. He also leads the team in RBIs (37), stolen bases (8), runs (47) OBP (.379) and pretty much every other offensive stat.

He also is looking for his fourth consecutive trip to the All-Star Game and is currently in second place in the AL Outfield polls.
