Anderson owns the best ERA on the D-backs’ staff. At 2.82, no one else even comes close.
He is arguably the D-backs Ace right now and the Angels aren’t looking forward to Wednesday when they have to face him.
The Angels have struggled offensively all season long and they certainly won’t have the advantage going up against pitchers, like Anderson, whom they have never seen before.
It’ll be interesting to see how Anderson handles Mike Trout and Albert Pujols. Fortunately for him, he gets to start in front of his own fans at Chase Field instead of a unfamiliar place like Angel Stadium.
He’s definitely capable of shutting the Angels down.
His performance might be the D-backs’ only highlight coming away from this series.
