Game 4:
Arizona was looking to come away with a series win while L.A. desperately needed a win to split. The Angels turned the tables on the Diamondbacks by striking early. While we’ve seen some great performances by some D-Back starting pitchers, Allen Webster’s was one to forget. Webster allowed six runs on five hits and five walks.
Home runs by Taylor Featherston and Johnny Giavotella in the third inning gave Los Angeles the early lead. Nick Ahmed doubled to score Peralta and cut the lead to 2-1 but that would be the only run the Diamondbacks would push across in the series finale.
The Angels dropped a five run, sixth inning on the D-Backs including an RBI triple from Trout and a two run double from Carlos Perez.
The Angels would cruise to a victory and salvage a 2-2 series with Arizona.
Final score: Angels 7, D-Backs 1
