Saturday: Tyson Ross vs. Robbie Ray

With an ERA of 3.90, Ross (3-7) would like to keep the D-backs hitter quiet so his numbers start to go down a little. If anything, he would like to see his ERA stay below four and that’s exactly what he’ll try to do on Saturday.

Ross is just 2-6 in his last 10 starts, dropping his last two in a row against the Atlanta Braves and Oakland Athletics.

Ray (2-1) has put up impressive numbers in his four starts so far this season. He has an ERA of slightly over one (1.09) and 16 strikeouts. His last win came against the Angels on June 15 when he kept Albert Pujols and company quiet over seven innings, giving up no runs and just two hits.
