Paul Goldschmidt

No matter who the Diamondbacks are playing Paul Goldschmidt will perform. He is tagged as “America’s First Baseman” by the media and fans, and is currently leading all first baseman in the All-Star voting campaign. Goldschmidt has been putting up stats that have not been seen in decades.

Goldschmidt is hitting .356, the best batting average in the MLB, with 19 home runs and 57 RBIs. He is putting up monster stats and has preformed very well against division opponents.

In the last seven games, Goldschmidt has hit .333 with eight hits, two home runs, seven RBIs and two stolen bases. What is even more astonishing is that in those seven games he has an on-base percentage of 1.054.

If he is able to keep this up he will not only help the Diamondbacks win, but will continue to be the talk of the MLB.
