The Territorial Cup game returns to Tempe this year after Arizona won on their home turf in 2014, clinching the PAC-12 South. Arizona State has the possibility of doing just the same thing in 2015.

With a 9-1 overall record and a 6-1 record with their lone loss being to the Utah Utes (also from the PAC-12 South), ASU will have had to get some help from their PAC-12 opponents to position themselves to clinch the division by this game, but it’s definitely possible.

Arizona returns Anu Soloman at quarterback and Nick Wilson at running back after spectacular freshman campaigns and one of the nation’s best defensive standouts in Scooby Wright also returns for the Wildcats.

Quite frankly, home field advantage is HUGE in collegiate football and the fact that the schedule makers bumped this game (usually on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend and students are home for the holiday) up a week will add a slight advantage for the Sun Devils. And that advantage is exactly what they need.

The Sun Devils will get things rolling against the Wildcats by piling up defensive stand after defensive stand. The crowd will be fired up, the Wildcats will be pressured to air the ball out after trailing early, and the Sun Devil defense will capitalize on the Wildcats attempts of aggressiveness. ASU will take back the Territorial Cup.

Final Score: ASU 36, UA 26

2015 ASU Record: 10-1 (7-1)
