2015 NHL Draft: Start Time and TV Information

Following yesterday’s 2015 NBA Draft, the draft season continues with today’s first round of the 2015 NHL Draft taking place in Florida.

The Edmonton Oilers hold the No. 1 overall pick and will take Connor McDavid who has been heralded as the next Gretzky and is a can’t-miss prospect. The Buffalo Sabres have the No. 2 pick and will likely end up taking Jack Eichel, who also has the potential to be a superstar in the NHL in due time.

The Arizona Coyotes sit at the No. 3 overall spot and will have numerous options of what to do with the pick. The Coyotes will likely go with Center Dylan Strome from the Erie Otters, the same team that McDavid played for. In 68 games last season Strome put up 45 goals and 84 assists to total 129 points for the Otters.
