1. Which prospect slipped the furthest in your opinion?
Eli Burk: The prospect who slipped the furthest in my opinion was Justise Winslow of Duke, who ended up being selected 10th overall by the Miami Heat. I thought the Knicks at 4 were a great fit, Orlando at 5, Denver at 7, basically I thought he would end up going anywhere from 4-9. Especially since his first communication with the Miami Heat organization came AFTER he was selected. Winslow has a good upside on both ends of the floor and will be a great piece for the Heat going forward with or without Dwyane Wade.
Brendan Kennealy: The prospect that slipped the furthest slipped all the way out of the draft entirely… Cliff Alexander from Kansas. Alexander averaged just 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in his freshman year at Kansas, but the 5-star recruit has the talent to produce at the next level. I went out to play a couple holes of golf at the beginning of the second round and when I came back (during the 58th overall pick by the Sixers) I was completely shocked to see his name atop the “Best Available” list.
