I know we highlighted Tomas in the preview last weekend against these two teams, but Tomas has had a solid week since then and deserves to be recognized yet again.

Not only that, he is fun to watch right now.

The D-backs right-hander has hit .333 in the last seven days with 8 hits, 2 RBIs and 5 stolen bases.

He was scratched from the lineup in the opener against the Rockies on Tuesday with some sort of illness, but bounced right back on Wednesday, collecting 4 hits in 5 at-bats and driving in a run. He also scored two runs in the D-backs 8-7 victory.

It pretty much doesn’t matter where he is because he is crushing the ball both at home and on the road. There’s no doubt his skills will continue in San Diego.
