Rusin is in his first year with the Rockies after spending the previous three years in the Chicago Cubs organization.

Rusin bounced up-and-down between the minors and major leagues during his time with the Cubs and he has continued to do so this season with the Rockies.

During his time this season in the big leagues, Rusin is 3-2 with an ERA of 4.69 in 7 starts.

In his last start against the Giants, he left with a no-decision and 6 1/3 innings of work. Prior to that, he won his third game in an outing against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Hellickson, meanwhile, is fresh off a loss to the San Diego Padres last Saturday in which he went 5 1/3 innings and gave up seven runs on 10 hits.

He is 5-5 overall this season with a 5.38 ERA .
