On Tueday, Yasmany Tomás hit his fourth homer of the season and his first at Chase Field. Three of his four home runs were hit in June, perhaps a sign that his supposedly prevalent power could show up soon.

Regardless of his less-than-advertised power, Tomás has been great at the plate for the Diamondbacks. The rookie currently holds a stellar .314 batting average and a .361 on-base percentage (for comparison, Dee Gordon has a .369 OBP). As a bonus, he’s scored 21 runs, stolen four bases (!), and driven in 29. Keep an eye on the exciting young outfielder during this series against less than formidable pitching.
