It’s Nolan Arenado’s world, we’re all just living in it.
The stud third baseman made it look easy last week, launching eight home runs over seven days. Eight! If he were a Diamondback, that one week would put him in third place on the team in home runs for the season.
“But he plays in Coors Field, that’s why he has so many dingers!”
WRONG. 15 of his 24 home runs have been on the road. He’s driven in 68 and scored 49 runs to go along with a .288 batting average and absolutely unreal defense.
He’s the best overall third baseman in the National League, and the NL West is probably going to have to deal with him for a long time. Buckle up and watch for Arenado to flash the glove and the bat during this series.
