Despite Hamilton’s recent groin injury, reports say the Rangers are ‘hopeful’ Hamilton will be in the lineup for Tuesday’s opener against the D-backs.
If that is the case, it’ll be interesting to see if Hamilton will continue his hot-streak since coming off of the Disabled List after straining his left hamstring on May 31.
In his last 11 at bats, Hamilton has collected four hits including a double and a run scored.
He appeared in one game against his former team, the Angels, over the weekend going 1-3 with a couple of strike outs.
Hamilton has made a lot of noise this season for all the wrong reasons. Now that he is back on the field, people are tuning in to see how he handles the pressure of returning to Texas.
